Back in the old day, ad companies had ETHICS, dammit!
How far back are we talking?
Back in MY day!
I think ad companies were founded on a lack of ethics.
Duhn duhn DUHHHNNNNNN!!!
I actually have thought of this before, how oddly hollywood ominous a news story sounded... lol
However, I don't think 'relaxing' is the term I would use...
Spacesharks. This explains everything. Someone tell SETI, quick! TURN OFF THOSE BROADCASTS BEFORE THEY HEAR US!111!!!
We're all going to die because of Lucky Strike, Camel, Marlboro, Chesterfield, and Pall Mall cigarette ads broadcast at megawatts of power? Well, it won't be undeserved, given the provocations.
Right? What did space sharks ever do to us?
"Ok, guys, who put that up there? NOT FUNNY, ok? That is DANGEROUS. Don't you know there are sharks up there??"
Yup. That is what my harddrives look like. Except, like 1.5TB of unfiltered old docs instead. I know what the other 1.5TB are, however. (over 500 computer games, lots of photos and artwork, plus a modest music library)
Until the robots force us all into little incubators attached to The Matrix. They will brainbleed the shit out of our inner thoughts just for a chuckle.
...do computers have a sense of humor? I think that is one of the first things they would get rid of, actually. Humor is only needed for interpersonal communication and relationships, which is a human things. Robots have no need for that.
In that case, they would definitely just do it for SCIENCE. *nods slowly*
After some of the shit Ive and read lately, plug me in and point me to the nearest pot field.
Really, most hacking is about asking questions juuuuust right...
