I just wanted to input that I think the new user controls are becoming a bit restrictive and feel it might inhibit progress. Not claiming to know anything about how to get a forum off the ground, I was merely thinking how simple was best, and that the simplicity of the design when I signed on was part of it's appeal after I shed my previous vBull way of looking at forums. No criticism, merely a comment.
Well some of us spent some time trouble shooting their accounts this weekend trying to figure out why some things worked and some did not. The status means absolutely nothing to me but it does to the owner of this forum. I think everyone should have the option to hide their trophy status if its so intimidating or something. I just would like it to keep up with remembering all of these status changes.
Yes. User Friendly. If the status meant nothing like the status on SLU then its no big deal. But since it effects the account status it is always relevant.
Agreed. My view is that if there hasn't been a problem, why introduce restrictions? If there has been a problem, I would like to know about it, even if in non-specific terms. You all might recall I had the same attitude towards the NSFW avatar thing.
Wastrilith Your content has been liked 1000 times. You are held in the highest of esteem. I'm not so concerned over how the planets govern, its the posters that make a board or break it. I like clean and sleek tho.
Muthafucker Your content pisses off most people. You have emotional issues and no intention of ever fixing them.
Fashion Diva It's true Daddy was emotionally distant and you crave emotional validation but don't you think you are over compensating just a teensy bit?
Just to be trying to make sure here. I can post and reply to threads. Does that mean I can start a thread? Just wanting to be sure I don't step on any toes.
the things listed in the first post arent things people are forbidden from doing, they are things their account cannot technically do. there is no reason for you not to start a thread (commercial announcements could go into the grid forum)
You know, Nina, it's a good point though. It may help some to see that anyone can post a new thread, even a New Arrival.
